Research Area:
Chemical Analysis O2, H2 and N2 in metal can be determined by this equipment by fusing the sample in an impulse furnace eluting the O2 and N2 present in the sample which is kept in a graphite crucible. Eluted O2 converts into CO2 and is measured in an IR Cell. N2 is determined in a TCD bridge. The equipments are calibrated with known standards before measuring the sample.
