NML-NPL Centre for Calibration - An ISO 9001-2008 Certified Laboratory is first of its kind set up in December 3, 1999 by two national laboratories, National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML), Jamshedpur and National Physical Laboratory (NPL), New Delhi. The centre provides calibration services to the industry and other laboratories in the area of temperature, electrical, and mass metrology. The Centre located at NML Jamshedpur strives for Better Value for Money to its customers.
CALIBRATION
Calibration ensures conformance of a measuring device to National and International Standards within acceptable limits of uncertainty.
ENVIRONMENT
The environment at the NNCC conforms to NABL standards and calibration is performed in a dust free environment under controlled conditions where temperature is maintained at (25±2)°C with relative humidity level of (60±15)%.
TRACEABILITY
The Masters at NNCC are traceable to National Standards at NPL, New Delhi.
Parameters calibrated at NNCC are Temperature, Voltage, Current, Resistance, pH, Mass etc.
